Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Happenings on March 12th in Conshohocken

The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is being held in Conshohocken on Saturday, March 12th starting at 2:00 p.m. The weather was somewhat iffy a little earlier in the week, but is now looking like it will be 64 degrees and sunny. Expect a big crowd in the thousands.

Below are a bunch of things that are happening on parade day:

Conshy Classic 5K
Registration will take place at Conshohocken Fire Co #2 (819 Fayette St) starting at 11:00 a.m. Fee is $35.00.

Conshohocken Cafe
Outside – Pulled pork sandwiches, kielbasa and hot dogs for the kids, plus fresh lemonade and bottle sodas.
Inside – Breakfast Bangers and Mash, Irish Fry Breakfast Salad, Corned Beef Hash, Asparagus and Spring Onion Quiche.

Flanigan’s Boathouse
Irish-centric menu featuring Beer Battered Onion Rings, Lamb Salad, Yuengling Fresh Fish Po Boy, Bangers & Mash, and Corn Beef & Cabbage Rueben. Behind the bar there will be $3.00 Coors Light 16 oz aluminum bottles, $6.00 Guinness drafts, and $5.50 Guinness and Smithwick’s cans.

Fritz Lodge
Ham and Oyster Dinner event from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. $12.00 per person.

Guppy’s Good Times
$6.00 Guinness, Magners and Harp drafts. Philabundance Burger for March is the Irish Melt Burger. This Jameson Whiskey blue cheese burger is topped with crispy onion straws and Guinness sauce. Irish Thunders will be performing sometime between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Scoops
$3.00 mint shakes.

Southern Cross Kitchen
Brunch from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. $12.00 gets you all you can drink mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, or Screw Drivers.

Pudge’s
Erin Go Burger – a burger with corned beef, French dressing and Swiss cheese.

The Great American Pub
$2.50 Coors Light drafts all day. Corned beef & cabbage, Shepard’s Pie, & Lamb Stew. Paul Moore band following the parade. DJ starts at 9:30 p.m.

The Local Table
$5.00 Shamrock Recovery Smoothies (fill up with nutrients before you party).

VFW Post 1074
Irish Thunder will be stopping by around 5:00 p.m. and Tenor Tom McHugh will be performing from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 pm

Like Beer? Like Eggs? Drop by Plymouth Meeting’s Whole Foods Market on Saturday, March 12th and 13th from 9:00 a.m. to noon for Kegs and Eggs. Whole Foods Market is kicking off its St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with awesome pint specials and delicious Irish fare.
