Snow and “Cold Blue” Temperatures Expected Over Weekend

According to Weather.com there is a 100% chance of snow tomorrow, with accumulation of three to five inches. It is going to be cold too. The Montgomery County Commissioners, The Montgomery County Commissioners, on the advice of the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, have declared a Code Blue Cold Weather Emergency for Montgomery County based on a review of forecasts from the National Weather Service.

The Code Blue starts Saturday, December 9th at 9:00 p.m. and runs through Monday, December 11th at 9:00 a.m. During this time period, the temperature and/or wind chill is expected to be below 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
