Solar company PosiGen opening office and distribution center in Conshohocken

The solar energy company PosiGen is moving its Pennsylvania office and distribution center to Conshohocken. The company is currently located in Plymouth Meeting and has signed a lease in the Velocity Ventures owned building at 241 East Elm Street in Conshy where it will occupy 9,324 square feet. Velocity Ventures purchased the building in early 2023.

PosiGen’s mission is to “make solar energy affordable for homeowners of all income levels” and is “the leading solar and energy efficiency provider focused on providing access to clean energy to underserved communities.” It achieves this through “no credit check” financing that allows “its services to be accessible for all families regardless of socioeconomic status, helping them reduce their utility bills and achieve greater financial autonomy.” It has more than 600 employees and has served nearly 30,000 customers in more than a dozen states.

PosiGen is expected to make the move in the next 60 to 90 days.

The building has one space still available that is just over 16,000 square feet (brochure).

The Fine Grinding Corporation owned the building dating back to 1973.
