Steel frame of SORA West office building completed

The steel frame of the office building at the SORA West redevelopment site in Conshohocken was completed today. The ironworkers put in place the final section that had been signed by employees of AmerisourceBergen, the company that will utilize the building as its corporate headquarters once it is completed. The building is 12-stories and 429,122-square-feet.

In the photo at the top of the article, the beam is at ground level about to be lifted by the crane. This photo shows it put into place a the top of the structure.

SORA West will also include a 1,500 car parking garage, a hotel, a restaurant within a historic firehouse on the property, and a public square.

The crane will be up for about four more months.
