Stop signs for new railroad crossing at Oak Street on agenda for Conshohocken’s Borough Council

As work continues on the new Conshohocken Train Station, Conshohocken’s Borough Council is preparing for a new railroad crossing that is part of the plan for the station. Once completed, there will be a new crossing over the railroad tracks at Oak Street to allow vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists access to the riverfront and the new station.

On the agenda for the August 16th meeting of Conshohocken’s Borough Council is a resolution that will make the intersection of Stoddard Avenue and Oak Street a stop intersection. This means the addition of a stop sign or signs at the intersection/crossing.
