Last week MoreThanTheCurve.com announced the first annual Tacohocken will take place on Saturday, June 8th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m,. at eight participating restaurants and bars. Participants of Tacohocken will spend the day enjoying $1 tacos, signature tacos (prices vary) and drink specials. The event is sponsored by the Abe Thomson Group.
Throughout this week and next we will be sharing what each specific restaurant will be offering during Tacohocken.
Coyote Crossing is the first participating restaurant to share its signature tacos being featured:
CARNITAS TACO (1 piece) – $4.50
Classic slow braised pork in au jus, wrapped with corn tortillas and topped with onions and cilantro
COCHINITA TACO (1 piece) – $4.50
Wild boar, refried beans wrapped with corn tortillas and topped with onions and avocado
For its $1 taco option, Coyote Crossing is its Tinga Taco, which features pulled chipotle chicken, wrapped with corn tortillas and topped with onions and cilantro.
Drink specials include $3.50 beers (Miller Lite, Bud Light and Corona Premier), plus $6 house margaritas.
