Topgolf is proposing to build one of its golf entertainment centers at 588 North Gulph Road near Valley Forge Park. The proposal is before the Upper Merion Township Planning Commission on June 26th.

DP 2019-02: Top Golf, 588 N Gulph Road. Demolition of existing ABC Center and construction of a 68,000 SF Top Golf Entertainment/Restaurant facility. 23.61 acres, KPMU King of Prussia Mixed Use District. Exp.: July 31, 2019.

The location is very close to the entrance of the national park. The Philadelphia Business Journal has an article that details park officials’ concerns about the proposal. Concerns including lighting, parking and the impact on a trail.
