Totally Twisted Pretzel at the Plymouth Meeting Mall has added fresh-roasted cinnamon-glazed nuts from The Nutty Bavarian to its offerings.

We are so excited to partner with The Nutty Bavarian to add them to our menu,” shared Michael Haspe, president of Totally Twisted Pretzel. “There’s nothing like the smell of fresh pretzels, and cinnamon-glazed nuts in the roaster! It was our hope to bring a familiar taste and smell back to the mall.”

Nuts available include almonds, cashews, pecans, and peanuts. Servings are $5 each, 2 for $9, or 3 for $12.

If you aren’t familiar with The Nutty Bavarian, it dates back to Orlando in the mid-1980s, utilizing a recipe developed by “Bruno the Bavarian.” In 1994, a NASA engineer bought the business and combined the recipe with a new design for the roaster. The business then grew from 10 locations to a network of independent operators nationwide, many in the nation’s malls.

Totally Twisted Pretzel is on the mall’s second floor and is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
