Uno’s Pizzeria in Conshohocken announces closure. Comes on the heels of Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza closing in Blue Bell

Chain pizza restaurants in the area have had a bad month. This week, Uno’s Pizzeria in Conshohocken (Plymouth Township) announced it would close on Sunday, October 6th. Last week, Anthony’s Coal-Fired Pizza closed in Blue Bell.

The Uno’s Pizzeria was opened at this location just after the property was redeveloped in 1997-98. The Regal Theater, Wendy’s, and Uno’s were all part of the result of the redevelopment and sit on the same property.

Uno’s did not offer a reason behind the closure, but since the pandemic, Uno’s is the third major chain to close a location on the highways of Plymouth Meeting and Conshohocken. Bertucci’s closed at the Plymouth Meeting Mall in 2022, and Ruby’s Tuesdays across from the Metroplex in 2024,

A little out of our coverage area, chains Boston Market and Crab du Jour closed in East Norriton in 2023,
