Update on 598 unit apartment community approved for Conshohocken/Whitemarsh riverfront

On the February 8th agenda for Conshohocken’s Planning Commission is a review of of an amended land development plan for an apartment community from KRE Acquisition Corp. The apartment community was previously approved through a court-ordered settlement agreement with a previous owner of the property and a revision to that agreement after KRE acquired the property.

The 598-unit apartment community will straddle the Borough of Conshohocken border with Whitemarsh Township along the Schuylkill River. Whitemarsh approved it in April 2022.

What is up for review is not whether apartments can be built. That is settled and approved. The developer made some type of change to the land development plan that required it to be reviewed and approved.

More to come.
