On the agenda for Wednesday night’s meeting of Conshohocken’s Borough Council is an interesting item. Under new business is “Consider consenting to terms of the lease with Premier Urgent Care Conshohocken, LLC.” This likely means that Premier Urgent Care is either taking corporate office space or opening an urgent care facility in the old Verizon Building, which has been redeveloped into Borough Hall at West 4th and Fayette.

The Borough’s plan for the redeveloped building was to secure retail tenants for the street level portion of the building along Fayette Street. We hadn’t heard that the Borough had abandoned that plan, so it will be interesting to learn on Wednesday night what the situation is.
