Video and photos from two protests in the Conshohockens on June 10th

There were two protests in the Conshohockens yesterday in response to the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis while being arrested.

The first protest started at 12th and Fayette and marched ended on West 4th Avenue in front of the police station. There were several speakers and the group took a knee for nine minutes, which was the length of time the police officer in Minneapolis kneeled on Floyd’s neck.

The second protest started at the McDonald’s parking lot in West Conshohocken and the group marched across the bridge and up to 8th Avenue in Conshohocken where they took a knee. The group marched back across the bridge and laid on their stomachs in the intersection on the West Conshohocken side

Live from the protest in West Conshohocken. The announced plan is to cross the bridge into Conshohocken and March up to 9th Avenue.
