Vote on 296 apartments in Conshohocken scheduled for the day after the election

MoreThanTheCurve.com recently published a breakdown of the development that is approved or moving through the approval process in Conshohocken overall and Whitemarsh’s riverfront. One of the developments mentioned is a proposed 296-unit apartment community near the Conshohocken Train Station.

Thus far, the developer, High Street Residential, has obtained some needed zoning relief from Conshohocken’s Zoning Hearing Board. However, the big ask involves Borough Council approving a conditional use application.

The conditional use application was recently under consideration by the Planning Commission, which makes recommendations to Borough Council. It did not recommend that Borough Council approve the application.

The conditional use application will now be before Borough Council for consideration on Wednesday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m.

The day before, the majority of Borough Council, four of its seven seats, will be up for election. All four seats have the incumbents running for re-election.
