The Commonwealth Financing Authority has announced that it has awarded $250,000 to West Conshohocken towards the Phase II of the Mackenzie Park Project, specifically the construction of a new basketball court, dog park, and restrooms.

The funding comes through the Marcellus Legacy Fund, which was established by Act 13 of 2012. The fund distributes the impact fees generated by unconventional gas wells o counties, municipalities and state agencies.
