West Conshohocken’s Christmas trees are now a tasty treat for goats

What happens when your tree chipper breaks and on your schedule for the coming weeks is collecting the Christmas trees from an entire municipality? You look for some goats.

According to West Conshohocken’s Director of Public Works Rob Dronitsky, the public works department dropped off about 40 trees this week to Sunset Valley Ranch in Eagleville. While the trees were to be put through a chipper and used in environmental friendly ways. Now they are a tasty treat for the farm’s goats.

Trees will be continued to be delivered to the farm throughout the collection process.
