West Conshohocken is celebrating its 150 anniversary in 2024 and to kick off the celebration it is holding its first West Conshy Founders Day 5K to close out its 149th anniversary on Saturday, October 7th. The Borough of West Conshohocken was incorporated on October 6, 1874. The race is hosted by Mayor Danelle Fournier and the West Conshohocken Police Department.

Registration for the event is open and it promises a “scenic race in beautiful West Conshohocken.” The route for the race can be found here. The race starts at 8:00 a.m. and is $30 for adults and $10 for kids.

The proceeds from the race will benefit Hometowners, a social group for the borough’s senior residents.
