When and how to put out your Christmas tree for collection

Wondering what to do with your Christmas tree? Below are the details for the Conshohocken, West Conshohocken, Plymouth Township, and Whitemarsh Township.

Borough of Conshohocken

Christmas tree collection will start on Wednesday, January 5th. Put out your Christmas tree on Tuesday night before Wednesday’s pick up or you can contact the borough at (610) 828-1092 to make an appointment for pick-up. Tree bags, all ornaments, lights, and stands must be removed.

The trees will be collected, chipped, and composted. As a reminder, all other yard waste collection on Wednesdays is suspended at this time until further notice. Should you need yard waste pick-up, contact the borough at (610) 828-1092 to make an appointment for pick-up.

Borough of West Conshohocken

Put out your Christmas tree with normal trash and it will be collected by the borough’s chipper truck.

Plymouth Township

Put out your Christmas tree for collection on any yard waste Wednesday in January. The trees will be collected and processed into mulch, which is free for the taking at the public works driveway at 700 Belvoir Road. Be sure to remove all ornaments, lights, stands, etc.

Whitemarsh Township

Christmas trees will be collected on Wednesdays beginning December 29th. Trees must be undecorated. Please place trees at the curb, not in the street, with yard waste.
