Whitemarsh Township has announced that the eastern portion of the township sustained significant damage from the storm. Township crews are working to clear roads so damage can be evaluated. All emergency service units are responding to multiple calls. Everyone is asked to not go near downed power lines and to remain at their homes (and off the roads).

PECO currently reports that there are 1,139 accounts (or 14.2% of all accounts) without power in Whitemarsh Township. All of the outages are still awaiting assessment. No projected restoration times have been provided.
