Whitemarsh Township’s Board of Supervisors names interim township manager

The Whitemarsh Township Board of Supervisors has named Craig McAnally (pictured left) as the township’s interim township manager. McAnally has been working for the township since October as the assistant township manager.

Rick Mellor (pictured right), who served as the township manager since 2013, announced his resignation in October. He is leaving to serve as the executive director of the Delaware Valley Trusts.

“It’s hard to express how much we appreciate Rick’s service to the Whitemarsh community,” said Board of Supervisor Chair Fran McCusker. “We wish him well and know he will be just as much of an asset to Delaware Valley Trusts as he was to Whitemarsh.”

McAnally spent twenty-one years with Lower Gwynedd Township, including six years as the township manager. He resigned as township manager in Lower Gwynedd in 2022.

“Craig was a welcome addition to Whitemarsh and we will continue to rely on his skills and leadership,” McCusker said.
