Who wants to buy one of Conshohocken’s fire trucks?

Conshohocken’s Borough Council recently voted to approve Resolution 2021-23 authorizing the sale of a ladder truck through Municibid (an online platform used by governments and agencies to sell equipment). Conshohocken has two ladder trucks, and the one involved is Ladder #55 which has been in operation with the Washington Fire Company No. 1 since 1998.

The Borough of Conshohocken bought a new ladder truck in 2019 that is operated out of Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2.

The ladder truck being sold popped up on Municibid today with a starting price of $80,000. The description reads:

The Borough of Conshohocken is selling a 1999 – Refurbished 2013 –  E-ONE Cyclone II Chassis – HP100 – 100 Ft Ladder Truck. The vehicle was formerly utilized by the Conshohocken Fire Department and has approximately 5,683.5 miles. Appartus was refurbished in 2013, this included Interior Cab, Emergency Lights, Re-certification of the engine and transmission, Lift Cylinders and re-cabled main ladder. 

Equipment shown in photos not included. (Specifically, Front Bumber Bell, Roto Ray, Washington Heads).
