Yesterday I was on Fayette, between 1st and 2nd Avenues, and noticed a for rent sign in what had been a satellite office of a center city law firm.  Over the past year there has been a wealth of discussion on making Conshy a more walkable downtown.  One of the issues in creating a walkable downtown in Conshy is that many of the first floor spaces are occupied by offices and not retail.

This space’s neighbors are Flanigan’s Boat House, the Great American Pub and Blackfish and is crying out for a retail use.  If this space changes from office to retail, it would be a great step in helping create a more well rounded Fayette Street.
