As we have reported, a large home at the corner of East 5th Avenue and Hallowell Street is being converted into the George Washington Wood Bed & Breakfast. The owners of the bed & breakfast do not plan to live at the property, which requires them to seek a variance from the Zoning Hearing Board. The owner is also seeking variances regarding parking, signage, etc. The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, June 29th at 7:00 p.m. at the new Borough Hall at West 4th and Fayette Street.
