National Philanthropic Trust moving from Jenkintown to Conshohocken

Bisnow reported on January 13th that National Philanthropic Trust is moving its office from Jenkintown to Three Tower Bridge in Conshohocken. Three Tower Bridge was constructed in 1997 at 2 Ash Street along the Schuylkill River. The building has been the longtime home of Jacobs, an international engineering firm. Jacobs is vacating the building and moving to another location within the Borough of Conshohocken, according to a source.

Three Tower Bridge is 60,000 square feet, and National Philanthropic Trust is taking 40,000 square feet. The remaining space is available for lease here.

According to the article, the National Philanthropic Trust selected Conshohocken after also considering Center City, King of Prussia, and Plymouth Meeting. Why Conshohocken? From the article:

“Conshohocken ultimately offered the strongest balance of affordability, accessibility, and a lively, walkable town center with appealing restaurants and amenities,” NPT CEO Holly Welch Stubbing said in a statement to Bisnow.

“Equally important, Conshohocken provided the perfect blend of the philanthropic sector in terms of the many foundations and nonprofits in and around the area and the private sector — especially financial services.”
