The Philadelphia Inquirer reported today that AmerisourceBergen will open an office in Conshohocken, but the pharmaceutical company will not be moving its headquarters. The new office will be located in the Millennium III building owned by O’Neill Properties. The new office will create 185 jobs in Conshy. While the Inquirer story does not reveal what type of office it will be, a story on another website refers to it as a “production center.”
O’Neill Properties has been working through the approval process for a corporate headquarters that has been rumored to be AmerisourceBergen. Based on this report, AmerisourceBergen’s headquarters is staying put in Chesterbrook.
The property O’Neill had hope to build the corporate headquarters, which sits on the riverfront on the riverside of Millennium II and III, was previously slated to be an apartment community.
