Whitemarsh Township has announced that Delaware Valley Wildlife Management will perform a deer cull as part of the Township’s deer management program from September 21st to December 14th and again from December 26th to January 25th. The cull will occur in a section of open space bounded by Hagys Mill Road, Manor Road, and the township’s border with Philadelphia.
Hunting will not take place on Sundays, except for November 17, November 24, and December 1.
A notice will be posted on the area of the deer cull, which will be closed to the public during Pennsylvania’s deer archery season.
The participating hunters are limited in number, have been thoroughly vetted, participated in safety training, and will follow all Pennsylvania Game Commission laws and regulations
