Kids between the ages of 4 and 7 are invited to discover opera by participating in this fine arts appreciation class brought to us by Ms. Svetlana of Kids Look Listen Create! During the first part of the class, children will hear a story based on Mozart’s The Magic Flute, interspersed with some of the opera’s most well-known arias. They will then be invited to reenact some parts of the opera while listening to Mozart’s music. Children will then have the opportunity to create a craft inspired by what they’ve just learned, heard, and done. Sponsored by the Friends of the William Jeanes Memorial Library. Registration is required. Registration will open two weeks in advance of this program's date.
