— The Schedule —

The races run from noon to approximately 5:30 p.m. There is a mix of races from kids to men’s and women’s pro races.

1:30 PM: John Dinda Memorial Race (Men’s Masters 45+)

The Course —
You can view a map of the race course here. The start/finish line will be located on Spring Mill Avenue between Ash Street and Poplar Street. There will be a stage, announcer, and DJ.

Other key areas for congregating are the Conshy Block Party along the 100 block of Fayette Street and The Plaza at SORA West at Hotel West & Main (46 Fayette Street).

Weather (as of 8/18 at 8:00 a.m.)
The weather forecast calls scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and the storms could contain damaging winds. The high is expected to be 84F. The chance of rain is 60%. Based on an hour by hour forecast, the weather worsens after 2:00 p.m. Be prepared for weather if you plan to go to the event. The races are rain or shine.

Parking —
The parking garage at SORA West (enter off West Elm Street, near Fayette Street) is available and is free to park. This is best if you plan to stay near Fayette Street.

There are two surface parking lots available along Washington Street, which are best if you plan to stay along East Elm and Spring Mill Avenue. To reach these lots cross the railroad tracks via Oak Street and turn left onto Washington Street. Then turn right onto Ash Street. The lots are designated on the race course map linked above.

Where to Watch Along The Course

— Conshy Block Party – 100 Block of Fayette Street —

Starting at 12:00 p.m.
The 100 block of Fayette Street will be closed to traffic and Flanigan’s Boathouse and The Great American Pub will have outside bars and seating. DJ Chris Evans will spin tunes starting at 1:00 p.m.

The racers will make a turn from East 1st Avenue to Fayette Street towards the bridge making the 100 block a key viewing area.

— Southern Cross Kitchen – 8 East 1st Avenue —

From 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Open offering an all-day menu with food and drink specials, along with an outside bar along East 1st Avenue. There will be live music upstairs with Scott Brimmer from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

— Hotel West & Main/1874 Social – 46 Fayette Street —

12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
DJ Chelli will be spinning tunes in the plaza and the bar will offer drink specials on beverage buckets, specialty cocktails, draft beer, and bottles of wine (view menu).

5:00 p.m.
The nine-piece Whitewalls Band takes the stage in the plaza playing Top 40 hits and more and the bar will offer drink specials on beverage buckets, specialty cocktails, draft beer, and bottles of wine (view menu).

The plaza will provide a view of the race going from the turn from East 1st Avenue onto Fayette Street and then the turn down East Elm Street.

— Bar Sera – 382 East Elm Street —

12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Will have its full lunch menu available for dine-in or takeout. On special will be Strawberry Basil (Boardroom vodka with strawberry simple, fresh basil) for $12, $7 beer specials (Conshohocken Brewing’s Ring the Bell and Life Coach), and $18 four-pack to-go beer special (Juju Bee).

Plus, enjoy the Pizza of the Week ( Galileo Pork | brick cheese, Guajillo pork, radish, jalapenos, cilantro, crispy onions, sesame and cotija)

The view from Bar Sera will be the riders coming down a long stretch of East Elm Street as they approach the turn left up Apple Street.

— Edwards Freeman Nut Co. – 441 East Hector Street —

12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Will be open with all your favorite candy and snacks.

— Pepperoncini – 72 Poplar Street —

Starting at 11:00 a.m.
Will specials available inside to include $8 Conshohocken Brewing Life Coach pounders, $4.50 Ultra drafts, $10 cheesesteaks, and $10 sausage and peppers with provolone.

— VFW Post 1074 – 300 East 5th Avenue —

Starting at 9:00 a.m.
Will have food available along with Bud, Bud Light and Michelob 16oz can specials.
