During last night’s Borough Council meeting in Conshohocken, representatives of The Great American Pub presented its plan for a rooftop garden for dining and events.

The Pub sought a waiver for off-street parking and a parking study. This process has just become a formality, because there is very limited off street parking in the immediate downtown area and no business would be able to open or expand if it was actually enforced. The waivers were approved with an unanimous vote.

Not a lot of detail was provided, except that the rooftop garden would have a capacity of no more than 200 people and that they hope to have it open in May/June.
