Help Support a Local Veteran Injured in a Car Accident

On Saturday August 17th, a local veteran who recently returned from Iraq and Afghanistan was involved in a devastating motor vehicle accident. His name is Lucas Davidson. This ordeal left Lucas’ neck/spine fractured in multiple places requiring several surgeries to save his life. Currently his future is unknown, but his family, friends, and brothers at the VFW are hopeful.

Unfortunately, military reserve benefits only cover medical care at very specific times and Lucas was ineligible for other healthcare benefits. At the exact moment you are reading this, the cost of Lucas’ medical care is rising at an alarming rate.

The Conshohocken VFW will be holding a Beef and Beer, Saturday September 14th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and 100% of the proceeds from this benefit will go to help Lucas’ family offset those mounting medical expenses. Tickets for this event are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. You’ll be treated to a warm and inviting evening of entertainment filled with friends, great food, and plenty to drink. In addition, a silent auction will be held for some amazing items.
