Local sanitary and stormwater sewer systems receive state funding

Pennsylvania’s Commonwealth Financing Authority announced on December 19th more than $6.6 million in funding from the American Rescue Plan Act to fund projects for water supplies, sewer systems, and stormwater management.

Locally, the Conshohocken Borough Authority received $1,454,471 for wastewater treatment plant electrical upgrades.

The Borough of West Conshohocken received $83,980 towards Church Street storm water improvements.

The East Norriton-Plymouth-Whitpain Joint Sewer Authority received $369,750 towards a scum concentrator replacement.

Whitemarsh Township received $642,950 towards Pine Tree Road stormwater improvements.
