Man Cited for Trespassing for Taking Jeep on Local Trail

A reader sent us a note about recent damage done to a local trail off Wells Street in the Conshohocken section of Whitemarsh Township. The trail head is just across Wells from the Cedar Grove Park and Barn.

According to a police report, 19 year old Nicholas Pinardo of Lafayette Hill took his Jeep onto the dirt trail on January 13th and ended up getting stuck.

When police found the vehicle it was unoccupied. They tracked down Pinardo through his father and together they went to the vehicle’s location.

A tow truck was called, but couldn’t get to the Jeep without getting stuck itself. The township used its backhoe to get the Jeep out of the mud and then it was towed.

Pinardo was cited for trespassing.
