The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety has alerted the public that there will be low flying military aircraft over the central, eastern, and southern sections of Montgomery County from October 11-13. The aircraft will be performing ceremonial flyovers as part of the US Navy and Marine Corps 250th anniversary celebration. Look for the planes at approximately 10:00 a.m., noon, and 2:00 p.m.

On the celebration’s website it states:

Marvel as Navy and Marine Corps aircraft fly from Camden up the Delaware River, to Valley Forge, down the Schuylkill and Delaware Rivers to Wilmington, and through South Jersey to the Philadelphia riverfront.

The public is asked to not call 9-1-1 to report the flyovers.
