Montgomery County reports that on Tuesday, August 25th there were 32 cases of Coronavirus reported, 37 on August 26th, 53 on August 27th, and 39 on August 28th. This brings the total number of cases countywide since the start of the pandemic to 10,726.
During this period there were no reported deaths. There have been six deaths in August as of August 28th, which includes an inmate from the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic is 826.
Montgomery County’s hospitals report that there 48 patients currently hospitalized and seven require a ventilator.
The PCR positive rate as of August 21st is 3.1%. It has ticked up slightly each week since a low PRC rate of 2.57% on August 10th. Having the PCR below 5% is consider having the virus under control.

The two charts above show the number of positive cases reported over the past 14 days. The number of cases over the past 14 days is 39 more than the previous 14 days. The number of cases over the past seven days is nine more than the previous seven days.
The local data is as follows:
- Conshohocken is at 58 cases, which is no chance since August 24th. There have been no deaths.
- West Conshohocken is at 10 cases, which is no change since August 24th. There have been no deaths
- Plymouth Township is at 185 cases, which is two more than since August 24th. There have been seven deaths.
- Whitemarsh Township is at 215 cases, which is six more than since August 24th. There have been 23 deaths.
