New Snow Plan for West Conshohocken

The Borough of West Conshohocken has announced a new snow plan for the town. Below is the announcement that was posted on the West Conshohocken Police Department’s Facebook page:

February 19, 2019

TO: SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTE RESIDENTS:

As you may know the following streets are deemed Snow Emergency Routes in the Borough of West Conshohocken:

Josephine Avenue
New Dehaven Street
Bullock Avenue (BOTH SIDES)
Spring Garden Street
Dehaven Avenue

With the impending inclement weather, beginning Wednesday morning, February 20, 2019, 6:00 a.m. thru Thursday, February 21, 2019, 6:00 a.m., if the current forecast doesn’t change, snow emergency has been declared.

The Borough will implement a new plan that HAS NOT been used in the past. We are advising that all vehicles MUST be parked and stay parked on the EVEN side of the roadway until the snow emergency is over.
Once Public Works has cleaned your street please be courteous and DO NOT PUSH snow back out onto the street as this will cause re-icing conditions. Please be advised that borough ordinance Chapter 99, Article I. Snow, Grass and Dirt Removal, section C, #3 states “It Shall be unlawful to throw, shovel or plow snow into or upon any roads and streets within the Borough with the intent of allowing such snow to remain on such roads and streets” and is subject to a fine up to $1,000. You may also be asked to move your vehicle so that the Streets Department can maintain a clear roadway for Emergency vehicles.

Still no Facebook page for the actual Borough of West Conshohocken.
