The under-construction Topgolf in King of Prussia has a pending liquor license in the PLCB database. The license being transferred is from the long-closed Champps at 330 Goodard Boulevard in King of Prussia. The former Champps is now Taku Japanese Steakhouse, which obtained its liquor license by purchasing one from a location in Lansdale and transferring it between municipalities. Topgolf won’t have to seek approval from Upper Merion Township for the transfer since the license originated from within the municipality.

The last update on the Topgolf in King of Prussia was from The Philadelphia Business Journal which reported that the location was projected to open in the summer of 2023.
