There is a potential sink hole in the same spot that partially closed western bound lanes along Plymouth Road in February 2024. We visited the spot today and there were two PennDOT maintenance trucks on-site and a portion of the westbound lanes had been coned off. Traffic could still get through in both directions.

A spokesperson for PennDOT shared the following with MoreThanTheCurve.com:

Our maintenance crews are currently on location to investigate what they expect might be a sinkhole issue.

Waiting on more information from our construction department to investigate further and develop next plan of action. Currently, the turning lane into the apartment complex [Parc] is restricted.
