Plymouth Meeting school locked down after man runs naked down Walton Road

The Plymouth Township Police Department issued a press release on March 15th after Holy Rosary Regional Catholic School was placed in a lockdown situation after a man was found on the school’s property after reportedly running naked down Walton Road. The incident happened just before 1:00 p.m. and the school was locked down for approximately 30 minutes.

According to police, once they arrived on the scene, the man was found clothed on the school’s property. The man’s vehicle was discovered abandoned in the roadway at Walton Road and Township Line Road, on the Whitpain Township side of the intersection. The man did not attempt to enter the school building or make contact with students or staff.

The man was transported by Plymouth Community Ambulance to Suburban Community Hospital for further evaluation. This investigation is currently ongoing and the circumstances surrounding the man’s behavior has not been determined.
