A traffic accident near Ridge Pike and Harmon Road has knocked out power to almost 1,000 accounts (and traffic lights) in the area of Chemical Road/North Lane and the intersection of Butler and Ridge Pikes. A reader reports that Ridge is blocked off at Butler and Chemical Roads. Another reader shared that poles are down.

PECO’s Outage Center projected that power will be restored by 7:30 a.m. We are not sure if that will correspond with the road reopening, or if that will take longer.
