Presidential campaign came to Lafayette Hill

CSPAN broadcasted the town hall featuring vice-presidential candidate Senator JD Vance (R, Ohio), which Moms for America held on October 15th at Union League Liberty Hill in Lafayette Hill (Whitemarsh Township).

According to its website, Moms for America is a “national movement of moms reclaiming our culture for truth, family freedom and the constitution. We Activate, Empower and Mobilize Moms to promote and advance freedom in our homes, communities and through our vote.”

How many people attended? The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the attendees numbered “several dozen,” while the Pennsylvania Capital Star put the number at “200-plus.” Based on the videos and images we viewed, the room used for the event was filled to capacity. The Times Herald reported that there were protestors at the club’s entrance.

Multiple campaign events took place in the region yesterday, tying up traffic. While Vance was in Lafayette Hill, First Lady Jill Biden was in Blue Bell and West Chester. President Biden appeared in Philadelphia for an event.
