Proposal to construct a warehouse along the riverfront to go before Whitemarsh Township’s Planning Commission in August

Dan Lepore & Sons Realty Assoc., LP, the owners of 501 Washington Street along the riverfront in Conshohocken (Whitemarsh Township), is scheduled to be on the August 9th agenda of Whitemarsh Township’s Planning Commission to present a sketch plan for a warehouse. A small portion of the property falls within the Borough of Conshohocken.

According to the documents submitted to the township, the warehouse would be a total of 122,846 square feet and consist of two floors of equal size.

Dan Lepore & Sons currently use the property for its masonry construction and restoration business. The current documents do not provide any details on whether this building would be for its purposes, for others, or shared.

This property is located between 401-433 Washington Street and 601 Washington Street, which both have current proposals for apartment communities.

The currently available documents do not outline whether any zoning relief is needed or will be sought.
