The last we reported on The Goat’s Beard opening a location in Conshohocken was back in April when Whitemarsh Township approved the transfer of the liquor license into the township. We previously reported a September opening based on what was stated during the liquor license transfer hearing, but the outside dining area hasn’t been constructed. Ashley’s Deli closed in January. Since then the building has been sold to the same group that owns Jasper’s Backyard, Catch 101, and WestSide Bar & Grill. Thus far they haven’t shared plans for the space, but we have heard that they are seeking a tenant and at least thus far not planning to open a restaurant themselves there.
