There are three big items on the agenda for the May 3rd meeting of Plymouth Township’s Planning Agency. In regard to all of these applications, the planning agency has the opportunity to recommend, not-recommend, or offer no opinion to the township’s council for the applications involving Keystone and Royal Farms, and the zoning hearing board in regard to PREIT.

The applications are:

Keystone Investment + Development is seeking a conditional Use to redevelop the office building adjacent to the Plymouth Meeting Mall into apartments. Learn more about this here.

Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) is seeking zoning relief to construct an apartment building with 300 units in the area where the vacant office building on the Whole Foods side of the property. A previous application for a larger apartment building was denied. Learn more about this here.

Royal Farms at 906 Ridge Pike in Conshohocken (Plymouth Township) is listed as seeking a conditional approval. In 2022, the convenience store and gas station received zoning relief. We are not sure what the conditional application involves, but it may involve a car wash on an adjacent property that was mentioned as a possibility in previous meetings/hearings.

The meeting is at 7:00 p.m. at the Greater Plymouth Community Center. We will provide a report on the outcome of the meeting.
