West Conshohocken’s Borough Council doesn’t support billboard for parking proposal

During last evening’s meeting of West Conshohocken’s Borough Council, Catalyst Experiential revisited its proposal to provide a parking lot along Ford Street in return for being able to add digital billboards at the corner of Front Street and Matsonford Road (on the backside of the Jasper’s WestSide building).

Mayor Danielle Fournier wrote the following in a West Conshohocken Facebook Group this morning:

This project was voted down by council last night. Safety and aesthetic issues being at the top of the list of concerns. Parking is an issue for that section of town and we should continue to work towards solutions that are safe and visually pleasing for our community.

Technically no formal vote was taken, but members of the council offered their views on the proposal and didn’t endorse it for further consideration.
