Whitemarsh Township issued a notice today that the bills that were mailed on March 1, 2022, to taxpayers had an incorrect millage amount for the Montgomery County real estate tax. On the bill, this tax appears as “County Real Estate” and the millage should have been billed at 3.923 mills, however, the bills show 3.632 mills.

The incorrect millage affects the amount of taxes due. Berkheimer, which collects the taxes, will be sending a second bill for the difference between the millage amount shown and the correct millage.

You are asked to pay both bills to Berkheimer.
