During the June 10th meeting of West Conshohocken’s Borough Council Kevin Joyce of Joyce Outdoor Advertising made a presentation to council regarding his proposal to erect an electronic billboard at 10 Balligomingo Road. The billboard would fact 476. Below is a review of the presentation from the minutes of the meeting:

Kevin Joyce of Joyce Outdoor Advertising of Scranton, PA made a presentation regarding erecting an electronic billboard on the property located at 10 Balligomingo Road that would face I-476 also known as the “Blue Route.” Mr. Joyce explained the size and height of the billboard and the steps he would need to go through to receive permission from the Pennsylvania Legislature as I-476 is under the Federal Highway beautification guidelines. The project would also require zoning relief from the Borough Zoning Hearing Board. After a discussion between Council and Borough staff, Richard Maccarone motioned with John Cooper seconding that this matter be tabled and asked staff to look into this matter and report back to Council at a later date. Council was all in favor and motion passed 7-0.

We looked up 10 Balligomingo and if you are heading from Plymouth Meeting to the exit for 76, it is the property on the right just before you reach the turning lane.  We will keep you posted as this develops.
