Colonial School Board Voted to Approve the Agreement of Sale for Romano Property in Plymouth Meeting

During its September 19th meeting the Colonial School Board voted unanimously to approve an agreement of sale to purchase the Romano property located at 1065 Belvoir Road in Plymouth Meeting (Plymouth Township). The price being paid is $6.85 million.

The owner of the property previously sought support from Plymouth Township for plans for a townhouse community and then two warehouses. That didn’t come.

Once the sale is final, the school district will become the landlord for First Student, which utilizes a portion of the property for a bus depot.

Long term the property could be used for a new school.

The sales process is now in a 120-day period that allows the school district to inspect the property.
