Back in September of 2021, MoreThanTheCurve.com reported that the Borough of Conshohocken was seeking online bids for a ladder truck. The borough had recently obtained a new ladder truck and it was determined the second older truck wasn’t needed. The bidding was to start at $80,000, but no bids were received.

During the January 19th meeting of Conshohocken’s Borough Council, the borough council approved the sale of the truck to the Chester Fire Company for $30,000. This was done directly and not through the bidding process.
