An outpost of The Greene Turtle, a Maryland Eastern Shore-centric bar and restaurant, is set to open in East Norriton on Monday, August 6th. It is located at 2800 Dekalb Pike in the same shopping center as Bluefin.

The first 100 people who dine in or order to go will receive a $10 rewards card every month for one year.

Prior to opening, The Greene Turtle will hold a charity lunch to benefit Hogs & Honeys to help enhance the lives of underserved and disadvantaged children of Montgomery County. In addition, The Greene Turtle will donate $1 from every Boardwalk Iced Tea and Boardwalk Lemonade sold during opening week to the Elmwood Park Zoo.

With the addition of the new East Norriton location, The Greene Turtle, which first opened in Ocean City, Maryland, in 1976, has 47 locations in seven states and the District of Columbia. The first Philadephia area location opened in North Wales in 2017. Additional locations are planned for the region.
