Netflix seeking approval for Netflix House in former Lord & Taylor at King of Prussia Mall

Netflix is going through through the conditional use approval process in Upper Merion Township according to a March 13th report in The Philadelphia Business Journal. The proposal from the streamer is to convert the former space that was home to Lord & Taylor into its brick & mortar concept Netflix House. The township’s board of supervisors will make the ultimate decision on whether to grant the conditional use. This week, the township’s planning commission unanimously recommended the proposal for approval.

What exactly is a Netflix House? It is Netflix’s plan to build on previous pop-up experiences and create everyday experiences for their most watched programming. This will include retail, food & beverage, experiences, and a theater.

Hope it has a Scoops Ahoy and Surfer Boy Pizza.
