New Menu at Flanigan’s Boathouse

Flanigan’s Boathouse introduced a new menu a few weeks ago.  Don’t worry, it still has everyone’s favorite wings, but there are several new items and new versions of past items.  Pictured above is a new version of their Fish & Chips ($16.99).  The fish is fresh, beer battered and served with Old Bay seasoned chips, cole slaw and a spicy remoulade.  The cole slaw has also been revamped using less vinegar.

Other new entrees include Baja Fresh Fish Tacos ($16.99)  featuring Cajun seasoned fresh fish, pineapple salsa, lettuce, cilantro cream sauce with soft flour tortillas; BBQ Shrimp ($16.99) (the appetizer version is pictured below) with shrimp wrapped in bacon over Louisiana rice; and slow roasted Prime Rib, 10 oz. for $16.99 or 16 oz. for $19.99, is available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Under appetizers they now have a Vegetarian Sampler ($8.99) with red pepper hummus, roasted garlic hummus and Kalamata tapenade and served with toasted pita bread.

Also under appetizers you will now find BBQ Shrimp Skewers ($9.99), prepared like the entree, but served on skewers.

There is one new salad on the menu, a Texas Rib-Eye Salad ($11.99), with certified Angus Beef, iceberg lettuce, grape tomatoes, cucumber and cheddar cheese tossed with ginger balsamic and topped with onion straws.

The dessert menu has also been revamped with homemade desserts from a local baker.  This past weekend they featured three options including a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and a chocolate cake.
